Bayern have looked fantastic in the group stages so far, beating Inter Milan 2-0 and upsetting five-time Champions League title-winners Barcelona 2-0. However, where Bayern found success, Viktoria Plzen failed, losing to Inter Milan 2-0 on Matchday 2.

Club Brugge vs. Atletico Madrid

As mentioned, Club Brugge defeated Porto 4-0 on Matchday 2 in a game that included goals in both halves and saw Brugge have a total of seven attempts on goal, while Atletico Madrid failed to overcome Leverkusen despite holding the Germans off until the 84th minute where two goals came in quick succession.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Inter comfortably beat Viktoria Plzen in their last Champions League outing but couldn’t manage a single goal in their 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich on Matchday 1. Barcelona decimated Viktoria Plzen 5-1 but suffered a shock 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich.

Liverpool vs. Rangers

Rangers’ Champions League campaign has been quite disappointing thus far with massive 3-0 and 4-0 losses on the first two Matchdays. Liverpool received a huge shock to their campaign with a 4-1 loss to Napoli on Matchday 1 before redeeming themselves against Ajax.

RB Leipzig vs. Celtic

RB Leipzig were beaten 4-1 by Shakhtar Donetsk on Matchday 1 and were defeated 2-0 by the defending champions Real Madrid on Matchday 2. Celtic managed to hold Shakhtar Donetsk to a 1-1 draw but also struggled against Real Madrid in their 3-0 defeat.

Chelsea vs. Milan

Milan started their campaign slow with a draw against RB Salzburg before a strong 3-1 triumph over Dinamo Zagreb. Chelsea suffered a 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb and also drew against RB Salzburg.

Juventus vs. Maccabi Haifa

Juventus lost 2-1 to Benfica on Matchday 2 and looked promising in their 2-1 defeat to a strong PSG in their opening Champions League game of the season. Maccabi also lost to Benfica and only managed a single goal in their 3-1 defeat at the hands of PSG last time out in the Champions League.

Real Madrid vs. Shakhtar Donetsk

The defending champions have started their title defence well with victories over both Celtic and RB Leipzig without conceding a single goal all tournament. Shakhtar Donetsk drew with Celtic 1-1 but defeated RB Leipzig 4-1 in a powerful display on Matchday 1.

Benfica vs. PSG

PSG are running hot after a strong 3-1 defeat over Maccabi Haifa and a convincing 2-1 victory over Juventus in their opening two games. Meanwhile, Benfica trounced Maccabi Haifa 2-0 and also beat Juventus 2-1.
