Champions League Predictions - Get the best bets and predictions for the matches on February 21 & 22

In a straight rematch of the 2022 Champions League final, Liverpool take on Real Madrid, with one of European football's most prolific sides set to be eliminated from the competition at this early stage. 

Last year, Real ran out as the winners as they lifted yet another trophy. This triumph came against a Liverpool side that were far better. Of course, the Reds are still a world class outfit, but things have just not clicked for them this season. 

Liverpool come into this one on the back of a 2-0 win over Newcastle in the league which has rejuvenated their hopes of finishing in the top-four. Real Madrid arrive on the back of triumphing at the FIFA Club World Cup, with the Spanish side desperate to give a good account of themselves in the first-leg. Despite this, Liverpool are the favourites to win at Anfield. 

Eintracht Frankfurt come into this one as the reigning Europa League champions, but they are really up against it in this tie. The Germans are playing some good football, but they still seem to be a step below the level needed to beat a team like Napoli.

The Italian side come into this one on the back of topping a group that also contained Liverpool, with Napoli still holding onto the top-spot in Serie A. While an away trip in the Champions League is never easy, Napoli know that they are really in this one, and they are the team to back in our eyes. 

RB Leipzig are really up against it if the percentages above are to be believed. Of course, a home tie in Europe provides a real challenge for the travelling side, but Leipzig will have to be near perfect to ensure they are still in this tie come the second leg. 

Manchester City arrive for this one on the back of a frustrating 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest that saw them slip further behind Arsenal at the top. Pep Guardiola will likely have spent the last few days emphasising the need to take their chances in matches, with City only scoring one goal from their 23 shots. 

Inter Milan already boast one piece of silverware in 2023 after beating arch rivals AC Milan 3-0 in the Supercoppa Italiana. How they will want to get back to their old days of dominating European ties, with Inter seemingly edging back towards a side that can win the big games in Europe once again. 

Porto arrive for this one enjoying February so far. Currently sitting in second in their domestic league, Porto have managed to net 48 goals in 21 matches, while they have only conceded 12 times. If they want to win this tie, they will likely need to stay tight on the road before looking to win their home match.
