La Liga Predictions for Matchday 20

Barcelona have been a lot better than any of the sides that they have faced of late, and they are looking to extend their lead at the top of the table with another win. Real Madrid dropped points for the second time in two matches, while Barca continued to win. 

They are wining most of their match by a 1-0 scoreline of late, with Barca in incredible form at the back, only conceding six times in 19 matches. 37 goals scored is very impressive, but their scoring has slowed of late as they lean on being able to keep their opponents at arms length. 

Sevilla come into this one sitting in 13th, and they are in desperate need of a win. Five victories in 19 matches have come alongside six draws and eight defeats. This means they are a massive 26 points behind Barca at the top, while they are only two points clear of the relegation zone. 

With Barca enjoying a 13-match unbeaten run in all competitions, it is difficult to see anything but a Barcelona win in this one. 

Avoiding relegation by a single point last year seems to have really spurred Mallorca on as they continue to impress this season. Currently sitting in midtable, Mallorca are only three points short of the top seven, and they will feel that they can give their opponents a real game this week. 

Real Madrid arrive for this one with a single win in their last three. They have slipped five points behind Barca at the top, and they know they cannot afford to drop more points if Barca are to continue to win. Real have not been perfect of late, but they have been good at the back, conceding a single goal in their last three games. They also hammered their opponents 4-1 in the reverse of this fixture, meaning history is on their side.
