La Liga Predictions For Matchday 22

Barcelona have been on the hunt for yet another La Liga title this season, and they look in imperious form right now. 18 wins, two draws and a single loss has helped the side onto 56 points, meaning they are now 11 clear of Real Madrid having played a game more. 

43 goals scored is an impressive tally, but the fact they have only conceded seven times shows where they have been at their best. Their defence is rock solid right now, and it sets the foundation for their attack. 

Cadiz arrive sitting in 16th in the league, just two points clear of the relegation zone. Five wins in 21 attempts has come alongside seven draws and nine defeats, with only 17 goals scored in this time. 

Worrying for Cadiz is the fact that neither their defence nor attack will be given an easy run in this game. Barca have been scoring freely this season, while they have not conceded often. Cadiz could be in real trouble in this clash. 

Atletico Madrid are battling hard for a place in the top-three of Spain's top league right now. A battling win over Celta Vigo last time out saw them hold on for the win despite losing Stefan Savic to a red card 70 minutes in. It took until Memphis Depay's intervention in the 89th minute for the away side to go ahead, with this seeing Atleti get back to winning ways. 

Athletic Bilbao arrive for this one sitting in seventh in the table after 21 matches. Nine wins, five draws and sevens defeats means the side are just a point short of a place in the Europa Conference League, while they are only six points behind their next opponents and the final Champions League spot. 

A win in this one for the away side would show they are a real force in Spain, but they will struggle to defeat an Atleti side that look sin decent form once again. 

Real Betis continue to battle for the top places in La Liga, with their former currently seeing them sit just four points behind Atletico Madrid and the final Champions League spot. 10 wins is a decent tally, while they have drawn four matches and lost seven games. With only 27 goals scored, they have not been particularly good going forward, but they have been brilliant at the back, conceding just 22 times. 

Visitors Real Valladolid have struggled this year, with the side sitting just four points above the relegation zone. 15 goals scored shows they have been blunt going forward, and they will likely struggle against a Betis side that look strong at the back.
