Premier League Predictions For Matchday 25

Leicester were easily beaten by Manchester United in their last match as they fell to a damaging 3-0 loss at Old Trafford. This defeat brought to an end an impressive four-match winning run in all competitions, with the Foxes finally hitting some kind of form. 

Arsenal were able to bounce back from a disappointing run of three games without a win after losing to both Everton and Manchester City, and drawing with Brentford. Their 4-2 win over Aston Villa in their last game helped them to move two points clear of Manchester City at the top with a game in hand after City dropped points by drawing with Nottingham Forest. Arsenal are the big favourites for this one as they look to edge further ahead at the top of the league. 

Bournemouth were able to secure a vital 1-0 win over Wolves as they look to secure their place in England's top league. This ended a run of nine games without a win in all competitions, with the three points enough to see the Cherries move out of the relegation zone. 

Manchester City come into this one on the back of an incredibly frustrating 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in their last league game. City dominated the clash but found it tough to take their chances in a match that saw them fall two points short of Arsenal. This comes on the back of City doing a lot of the hard work and edging closer to the Gunners by beating them 3-1. Pep Guardiola will be in no mood to drop points against another side from the bottom-half of the table. 

Crystal Palace have not been able to secure a win in any of their last eight in all competitions. However, they have at least been able to draw four of their last five games, with Palace avoiding defeat fairly regularly of late. 

Liverpool arrive on the back of a stunning 5-2 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League that could see them all but eliminated from another competition. With their European hopes hanging by a thread, they know they will likely have to finish in the top four if they are to play Champions League football next year, meaning they simply have to win games like this. 

Tottenham were able to drag themselves in fourth in the Premier League with a win over West Ham alongside Newcastle's loss to Liverpool. With three wins in their last four home games in all competitions, Spurs will be confident that they can compound Chelsea's misery and pick up all three points. 

Chelsea arrive on the back of a 1-0 loss to Southampton, which followed a 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. Losing to Dortmund in Europe and now finding themselves 11 points behind their next opponents in fourth means they cannot afford to lose this match. Defeat here will likely see them miss out on Champions League football next season, while a win could be exactly what they need to reignite their top-four hopes.
