Premier League Predictions For Matchday 27

Bournemouth now sit at the bottom of the Premier League as their awful campaign threatens to end in relegation. A 3-2 loss to Arsenal last week saw the Cherries really push the league leaders, but as has been the case for the majority of their season, they came away from the clash with nothing. 

Liverpool humiliated Manchester United 7-0 in their last game as they kicked their battle for a Champions League spot up another gear. The Reds have been impressive in recent weeks and are now eyeing a misfiring Tottenham above them in the table. Beating the league's bottom side is a must if Liverpool are to finish in the top-four. 

Leicester were stunned in their last game as they were beaten by Southampton, who went into the clash as the bottom side in the table. The Foxes have now lost their last three league games without scoring will likely struggle against a Chelsea side that have improved of late. 

While it is uncertain whether this is a turning point in their season, Chelsea come into this one on the back of two wins in all competitions. A 1-0 win over leads was followed by a stunning 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, with Chelsea beating one of Europe's form sides. The Blues will fancy their chances of making it three wins in a row in this one. 

Tottenham were awful in midweek as they were eliminated from the Champions League by AC Milan. Needing a single goal to level the aggregate score, Tottenham could barely muster anything of note as they slumped out of the Champions League with a whimper. They simply have to bounce back at the first time of asking. 

Nottingham Forest arrive for this one sitting in 14th, just four points above the relegation zone. Forest have only won three of their 12 games on the road all season, while they have lost eight times and seem likely to taste another defeat here. 

Crystal Palace have gone nine matches without a win as their awful run in the league continues. A 1-0 loss to Aston Villa in their last game was not the result they wanted, and they are really up against it if they are to get anything from a Manchester City side that are desperate for points. 

Manchester City were able to defeat a stubborn Newcastle in their last game as they kept the pressure on Arsenal at the top. With five points currently separating City from Arsenal, the reigning champions know they cannot afford to drop points here. City have won four of their last five Premier League games, scoring 13 goals in that time. A win would see the gap cut to two points ahead of Arsenal's tricky match with Fulham. 

Fulham have really impressed this season and are in contention for an unlikely European place if they keep picking up positive results. Sitting in seventh in the league Fulham have only lost one of their last five, and are just three points behind Liverpool and the final European spot. 

Arsenal come into this one on the back of four wins in a row as they have kept their five-point lead at the top intact. A thrilling 3-2 win over Bournemouth last time out saw the Gunners leave it very late to take all three points, and they will hope for a much more straightforward win this time round. 

Manchester United are looking to bounce back from a humiliating loss to Liverpool in their last match. The 7-0 defeat was incredibly embarrassing, and it saw United allow Liverpool to force their way back into the top-four battle. A win in this one would see United maintain their four-point lead over Tottenham in fourth with a game in hand. 

Southampton finally dragged themselves off the bottom of the table after beating Leicester 1-0 in their last match. This was only their sixth win of the season, with a seventh here possibly taking them out of the bottom-three.
