Manchester United vs Everton predictions

Manchester United are looking to bounce back from a poor run of form that was extended as they lost 2-0 to Newcastle in their last game. Without a win in three matches, United slipped down to fifth in the table. While they have two games in hand over fourth-placed Tottenham, United will know that these games are meaningless if they cannot turn them into wins, and quickly.

Everton arrive for yet another tough game as they face United at Old Trafford. An impressive rearguard action against Tottenham in midweek saw them take a point from a 1-1 draw, and Sean Dyche's men will be looking to secure yet another big result against one of the top sides in the league. While United are in poor form and Everton will relish this match, the home team are big favourites.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton predictions

What can be said about Tottenham this season? Despite being in fourth, they don't look like a top-four side, and they aren't playing like one either. Spurs are incredibly fortunate that Liverpool and Chelsea have been so bad this season, with this a big reason as to why they are in the hunt for a Champions League berth. Against Everton in midweek, they were 1-0 up and had a man advantage, and yet they sat back, inviting pressure onto them. Whether the tactics were all wrong or Spurs were petrified of what Everton could do, they were ultimately punished, and rightly so. A top-four team does not not allow a side in relegation mire to boss them around with 10-men, and yet that is exactly what this toothless, rudderless Spurs side did.

By contrast to Spurs, Brighton are having a season to remember. With 43 points from 26 matches, Brighton are seven points behind a Tottenham side that have played three more games than them. Incredibly, if Brighton win this one, they will move to within four points of Spurs with three games in hand. Brighton won their last trip to face the London side and will fancy themselves.

Wolves vs Chelsea predictions

Wolves have struggled massively this season, with a single win coming from their last seven matches. The relegation zone is now just two points behind them and with Crystal Palace in 12th and Southampton at the bottom separated by just seven points, nobody can take their position in the league for granted.

Graham Potter finally paid the price following yet another toothless display from the Blues. Chelsea have not been good enough this season, and the insipid performances of the side have seen Potter's services dispensed of. Now, the players have nothing to hide behind, and they need to beat their hosts if they are to have any chance of taking some form of European spot next year, although this still looks unlikely.

Southampton's hopes of avoiding relegation took a hit last week as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of fellow-strugglers West Ham. This has seen safety move four points away from the Saints, who now have just nine games to save their season.

Manchester City arrive for this one eight points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. Cutting the gap back down to five points is vital, and they will then need to wait and see whether Liverpool can do them a favour in the final game of the weekend, with City likely to extend their seven-game winning run in all competitions.

Liverpool have been so hit and miss this season, with the Reds unable to put together a serious challenge for a top-spot due to their inability to win games consistently. A 4-1 humbling at the hands of Manchester City at the weekend put on full display how far behind the top teams Liverpool are right now.

Arsenal have been phenomenal this season, but the pressure is really on them now. With an eight point lead over City having played a game more, Arsenal will be desperate to ensure their current lead is not cut any further. However, with an away game against Liverpool as the final match of the weekend, the Gunners could find themselves just five clear of City having played a game more. A win is crucial for Arsenal as City will scent blood if Arsenal do not take all three points.
